Former Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho has opened up about his Barcelona struggles.
Coutinho joined Barcelona from Liverpool in January 2018 but has failed to command a regular place, starting only 22 games in La Liga last term.
"I have not had a good season," the Brazil international said in quotes reported by Marca.
"My performances have been a lot worse than I expected they would. The only way to improve and gain confidence is through hard work, and I have been working hard."
The Spanish paper claims both Barcelona and Coutinho are "actively seeking a move away" for the player and that, as things stand, PSG are leading the race to sign him.
